As a small framed person, I found a traditional guitar body too wide. When I went to play I would almost instantly feel numbness in my armpit and down my arm and hand. My husband surprised me with a hand crafted light weight Hanson guitar that had a narrow body. It fit me perfectly. No more pain! Problem solved! I feel like I'm holding a piece of artwork. I've been playing guitar my whole life, both professionally and as a hobby, going on 22 years now. Throughout that time, I have had the opportunity to play many of the big-name, big reputation models. Recently, I was lucky to get my mitts on one of Alan's axes, and I was utterly blown away. It was like reading Hume for the first time. Until then, I was unaware that a guitar could sound, look, feel and play that beautifully all at the same time.
